Recently I edited and translated John Buridan’s Long Questions on the “Peri Hermeneias”, along with relevant passages in his Questions on the Metaphysics of Aristotle (QM). The book is under contract with Fordham University Press, and should come out in 2026.

This passage includes a surprisingly direct answer to G.E Hughes’s (1989) question, what are Buridan’s possible horses? I examine this, in relation to possible worlds, in an article now forthcoming in Dialectica [link]
